Finding My Way Back to Routine

The last three weeks have been a blur — airports, hotel rooms, conferences, and just enough sleep to keep going. It’s been exciting and full, but if I’m being honest, I’m struggling to get back into my rhythm.

It’s easy to pretend we have it all together. The intention is always there — to eat well, move daily, journal, drink enough water. But sometimes, despite our best efforts, we fall out of sync.

I’m not completely off the wagon. I make good choices when I travel, I move when I can, I do my best — but we all know it’s not the same. And that’s okay.

What I’ve learned (and continue to relearn) is that intention only matters when it turns into action — even small action. The same grace I give to clients, I have to give myself. Because it’s easy to say:
“I’m too busy.”
“I don’t have time.”
“I’ll start Monday.”

Yet if a client said that to us, we’d remind them — a 20-minute walk still counts.
Stretching before bed still counts.
Choosing rest instead of burnout still counts.

So this week, instead of chasing perfection, I’m focusing on presence — and a few simple actions to help me reset:

  • Plan movement like meetings. I’m blocking time in my calendar for workouts and walks. If it’s scheduled, it’s happening.

  • Return to habit stacking. Meditation while I sit under the red light. Hydration check before morning emails. A short walk before my next meeting.

  • Stack supplements with meals. No skipping, no overcomplicating — just consistent fueling.

  • Prioritize protein. Simple, clean, and stabilizing — it helps me feel grounded and strong.

  • Start small, stay consistent. The goal isn’t to do everything perfectly — it’s to rebuild momentum.

As I look ahead at the week, I’m not asking for flawless. I’m asking for consistent.
For me, for you, for all of us trying to find our way back to routine — just start small and keep showing up.

Because that’s where it all begins again.

I’m rooting for you,
With love and encouragement,
Beth
