The Movement That Moved Me

Some things you just know before you can explain them.

That was me with True Movement.
I hadn’t taken a class. I hadn’t touched the platform. I hadn’t done the training.

But I knew.

There was something about the method, the mission, the energy behind the brand that felt aligned.

Even before I had language for it, I felt pulled toward it.

And that kind of knowing? I’ve learned not to ignore.

I first met True as a consultant, not a client.

Two years ago, I was brought in to help Erin and her team build structure around the vision.
Systems, operations, client journey mapping—you know, my wheelhouse.
At the time, I was doing the work I always do: building the backend of a business I believed in.

But something about this project stayed with me.
I wasn’t just invested in the structure—I was pulled in by the mission of it.
And though I didn’t realize it then, I wasn’t just helping build a brand.
I was slowly, steadily being invited into something bigger.

I believed in it before I ever stepped on the platform.

And then, as life does, it moved forward.
I shifted into new roles, new projects. I focused on my own training and continued to invest in my health.

I bought a Pilates reformer (which I love).
I’ve been consistently working with my strength coach (who I also love).
I felt strong. Steady. Supported.

And still, I felt like something was missing.

Not a workout. Not a fix.
But a method that could meet me exactly where I am—in this season of life, leadership, and alignment.

True came back into my life when I was finally ready to listen.

And this time, it wasn’t about consulting.
It was personal.

What I craved was intention. Efficiency. Depth.
A place where I could train in a way that honors my body, instead of fighting against it.
A method that didn’t force me to choose between strength, mobility, and stability—but wove them all together seamlessly.

With True, it all clicked.
The vision, the movement, the why.
Every piece aligned. And suddenly, I didn’t feel like I had to hustle for results.
I just had to move with purpose.

Last week, during teacher training, it all came full circle.

I walked in curious—already confident in the brand, already sold on the vision—but ready to finally feel what I’d believed in for so long.

I’ve always struggled with anterior pelvic tilt.
No matter how much I’ve trained or how strong I’ve gotten, it’s something that’s followed me for years.
But by the end of day one, Erin had cued me in a way that finally clicked.
For the first time, I could feel the correction in my body—not just conceptually, but viscerally.
And with that came something I hadn’t felt in a while: confidence through the movement.

The usual strain I carry in my neck during core work started to disappear.
I found deeper engagement in my transverse abdominals.
I moved with more control, more clarity—and honestly, more ease.

By day two, I felt my hips start to open.
The platform invited me to move with intention, to connect alignment with strength. I wasn’t just going through the motions—I was moving differently.

By day three, after a full day of training, I took my first complete class.
It was layered, intelligent, and challenging in all the right ways.
I didn’t leave broken. I left better.

And by day four?
I woke up sore—but restored.
Not drained. Not depleted.
Just more connected to my body than I’ve been in a long time.

By the end of the week, I had more mobility than when I started. That’s not an exaggeration—it was measurable.
Even Brent noticed it in himself.
He was able to do the majority of the work, and that’s not always the case with his new shoulder.
His shoulder was moving with more freedom. His hamstrings—usually tight no matter what—actually lengthened and released.
We left that training feeling aligned in every sense of the word.

And now? We miss it.
The platform, the movement, the energy.
We’re already counting down the days until we can step back on.

I didn’t choose True because it was the next smart business move.

I chose it because it’s the first thing in a long time that made me feel fully aligned.

Body. Mind. Heart.
All in.

I chose it because it’s more than a workout.
It’s a method rooted in longevity and designed for real life.
It’s movement that feels like home.

And now? I’m going all in.

We’re launching the first-ever U.S. franchise of True Movement in Illinois.
We’re not dabbling.
We’re not testing the waters.
We’re all in.

Because sometimes, life brings something back into your orbit at exactly the right time.
Not when it’s convenient.
Not when it’s easy.
But when you’re ready to really receive it.

And when it whispers, This is where you belong
you say yes.

So if you’re in a season of searching, of building, of wondering if it’s ever going to come together—let this be your reminder that it can.

I hope this gives you hope to keep going. To find the thing that lights you up. To say yes to the opportunities that feel aligned, even if they don’t make perfect sense yet.

Because right now?
I feel like everything I’ve worked so hard for—everything I’ve chased, built, believed in—is finally coming true.
I’m not just opening a studio.
I’m launching my dream.
And it feels like coming home.

I’m rooting for you,
With love and encouragement,
Beth
